i have been lusting after some gorgeous flats, and even those wedges look pretty comfy! and happy feet make a happy me!

- my lovely boyfriend bought me flowers

- i watched "limitless" at the cinema

- i ate betty crocker's vanilla frosting out of the tub with my sister

- i lost £300 thanks to credit card fraud (but thankfully the bank covered it!)

set up my new blog

bought a new dress from topshop (isn't she a beaut?!)

hiked 20km around the lake district

started making lists

30 days of lists

i've caught on a few weeks late, but i'm lovin' playing along with the 30 days of lists blog. i'm an obsessive list maker anyway, so making a fun project out of it seems a no-brainer.

have a browse through the flickr group to see some fantastic examples of other people's lists.

my bedside book collection right now...

- The Winter Ghosts, Kate Mosse. a fantastic short story, with a spooky twist and a dollop of French history.

- The Brightest Star in the Sky, Marian Keyes. i haven't started this yet, but i love Keyes' style. hope this will be a great beach read

- A L'ecole des Sorciers, J.K Rowling. the first Harry Potter book translated into french. this is a really fun way to brush up my french vocab.

- Trespass, Rose Tremain. i can't put this book down at the moment. i can't wait to read some more of her books.

- Alices Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass, Lewis Caroll. had to buy this to go in my collection of beautiful penguin classics. i have more than a shelf-ful now!

this evening i had fun choosing a new blog colour scheme on colourlovers.

i started with the pantone colour of 2011, (honeysuckle - of course!), and went on from there. can i just say i love the idea of a "colour of the year"? yey for colour enthusiasm.
